Men's Cross Country: Knights Add Molina to Slate of Signees

Baltimore County, MD -- CCBC Essex Knights head cross country coach Noah Hutton today announced the signing of Gustavo Molina (Edgewood H.S.) for the 2018-19 season.

Molina is an athlete new to running, having discovered this passion less than 15 months ago. He competed in one cross country season, his senior year for the Rams.

From the middle of his junior year to the end of his senior year, Molina was able to cut over two minutes from his two-mile time and almost 90 seconds from his mile time.

During his only year of cross country, he was able to run a respectable 18:57 5k.

"Gustavo plans to work hard over the summer," Hutton said. "[With] improvement this summer, Gustavo could be a competitive runner in Maryland Juco."
