Price, Harris Named October Conference Players of the Month

BALTIMORE – The Maryland Junior College Athletic Conference (Maryland JUCO) today announced its Players of the Month for October and Knights Isaiah Price (men's soccer) and Garrett Harris have been selected in their respective sports.

Price (Bowie H.S.) scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, against Montgomery College (Oct. 27) to help the Knights to their seventh straight NJCAA Region XX Division I title. He also had a goal in Essex's regional quarterfinal game versus Hagerstown Community College (Oct. 24). Price had a tally in nine of 10 games for the month, scoring 15 goals, five game-winners, and had four assists (34 points) in October. He finished the season tied for first in the conference with 24 goals scored.  

Harris (Loch Raven H.S.) placed 10th in a field of 113 runners at the Hood Invitational (Oct. 13). He finished second at the NJCAA Region XX Division I/Maryland Juco meet with a time of 29:27.7 (Oct. 27), less than one second behind the winner; his strong performance led the Knights to their first regional and conference titles in a program history that dates back to the 1970s, as they defeated Harford by nine points.
