CCBC Essex to offer Women’s Basketball beginning fall of 2019

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – Community College of Baltimore County Essex Athletics has announced that it will once again offer women's basketball as a varsity sport beginning next fall after a 15-year absence.

"We are very excited to reestablish the women's basketball program here at CCBC Essex," said CCBC Essex Athletic Administrator Greg Witkop. "We feel that we have a strong support system in place, which will allow us to quickly develop a strong program.

The Knights are currently interviewing head coach candidates, and anticipate making that announcement sometime after the New Year.
