Women's Lacrosse: Corbitt-Fennekohl Wins NJCAA Player of the Week

Colorado Springs, Colo. -- The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) today announced its players of the week for April 16-22 and the Knights' Alexis Corbitt-Fennekohl (Loch Raven) was selected to represent women's lacrosse.

The sophomore attacker scored 14 goals, had five assists and 17 draw controls, as the Knights went 2-1, including a 21-13 upset victory over then ranked No. 5 Howard. She scored seven goals and have four assists against the Dragons.

Corbitt-Fennekohl ended the regular season with a nation-high 66 goals and had 16 assists. She also leads the nation in shots (124), points (82) and draw controls (69).
