Women's Soccer: Knights Fall to Riverhawks 5-3

BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. -- On an overcast, gloomy day at CCBC Essex Stadium on Saturday, the Knights could not hold off the Anne Arundel Riverhawks and fell 5-3. 

The Riverhawks' (1-1, 1-0 Maryland Juco) Randal Graham scored the game's first goal at 15:49 and it would remaing that way until the break. 

Knights' freshman Mikayla Boyle (Eastern Tech) tied the game with a goal 48 seconds into the second half.

At 60:07, Anne Arundel regained the lead on a goal from Angela Sarrach. 

Just over three minutes later, the Knights were awarded a penalty kick and Boyle coneccted for her second game-tying goal of the game.

Not to be out done, the Riverhawks' Madeline Stevenson gave her team a 3-2 lead just 3:40 later. 

Once again the Knights fought back to tie it. 

In the 70th minute, Gracie Halpin, playing in her first game for the Knights, scored to make it at 3-3 game. 

Anne Arundel's sophomore Angelina Horan scored two goals in the final 10 minutes of play to give the Riverhawks the win.
