Bio

Janice Alonzo is the academic advisor for baseball, men's soccer, and women's volleyball. Prior to coming to CCBC in 2010, she worked as an academic advisor at Florida State University and Harford Community College. Alonzo holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology with a Spanish minor from Ithaca College and a master's degree in International Affairs from Florida State University. During the fall semester of her junior year at Ithaca, she studied abroad in Madrid, Spain. She is currently working on her doctorate degree in Community College Leadership at Morgan State University. Alonzo was born and raised in Syracuse, NY.
