The Knights defeated CCBC Dundalk 4-2 on Tuesday to advance to the double-elimination round of the Region XX Tournament and will face CCBC Catonsville this Friday at 1 p.m. at Cecil College.
Freshman Rocco Iervasi (River Ridge) pitched eight and two thirds innings against the Lions for his fifth win. Sophomore Jason Nunez (C.D. Hylton) recorded the final out to pick up his second save this season.
The Knights (25-21) have won 10-of-14 and despite injuries to key players this season, have a chance to make some big waves in the regional semifinal round.
