CCBC Essex Baseball to Host Position Camps

Rosedale, Md.— CCBC Essex baseball is excited to be able to offer exciting position camps for players ages 10-18. The camps will be held on Sunday, November 27th at the CCBC Essex Wellness Center, and players may register for one or more of the following sessions:

10 am – 1 pm Catching Camp

10 am – 1 pm Pitching Camp

1 pm – 4 pm Hitting Camp

In addition to the CCBC Essex staff and players, we will be joined by some special instructors.

Catchers will have the opportunity to work with Jack Bulger, currently the starting catcher for Vanderbilt University and 2023 MLB draft prospect. Bulger is a two-time Maryland Gatorade Player of the Year, two-time Washington Post All-Met first team honoree and member of the USA Baseball National Team.

Pitchers will work with John Smith, former Oakland A's minor league pitcher. Smith pitched for Old Dominion University and the US National Team. Smith is the current pitching coach at Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania

Each camp is $100. For those who sign-up for two sessions, the second session will be discounted to $50 for a total cost of $150.

Players should bring water and baseball gloves. If attending the catching camp, please bring your catching gear. Those attending the hitting camp will also need helmets and bats.
