Bio

Fiedler joined CCBC Essex in February 2012 and is entering his fifth season as head coach. He has led the Knights to a 54-23-5 (.689) overall record through 2015, four straight (2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015) Region XX Championships, a Maryland JUCO Conference title (2015) and two appearances in the NJCAA Men's Soccer Division I National Tournament (2013 and 2014). He has been selected Region XX Coach of the Year (2012 and 2013) and voted CCBC Essex Coach of the Year by his peers in the 2013-2014 and 2014-2015 seasons. 

Prior to taking over at Essex, Fiedler was the Head Boy’s Soccer Coach at Loch Raven High School (1997-2011). During his tenure, the Raiders were two-time Baltimore County Championship Finalists, made five trips to the Maryland State semi-finals, three State Finals appearances, and captured the State Title in 2009. Fiedler’s teams received NSCAA Team Academic Awards in 13 of his 15 seasons. For his efforts, he received the 2005 NHFS State Coach of the Year and 2011 NSCAA Small School State Coach of the Year awards.

A graduate of Essex Community College (Associates of Arts) and University of Baltimore (Bachelors of Science), Fiedler resides in Parkville, Md. with his wife Barbara, son Tim and daughter Jill.
