Men's Soccer: Momenya Name to All-America Teams

ROSEDALE, Md. -- Sophomore Steve Momenya (Parkdale) has been named to the 2016 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) and National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division I Men's Soccer All-America teams.

Momenya was selected to the NJCAA third team and NSCAA second teams.

He scored the winning goal in the Knights' 1-0 victory over Frederick on Oct. 29 in the NJCAA Region XX Division I Men's Soccer Championship.

Momenya was arguably the best center back in the region and made an impact on offense, scoring five goals and finishing with 11 points.

This is the 11th consecutive season that the Knights have had an All-America selection.
