Bio

Hutton was hired as the head men's and women's cross country coach in December 2016. Prior to the Knights, he was the head girl's cross country coach for Edgewood High School (2015-2016).

Hutton has assisted the men's cross country UCBAC championship team (2015),  during which time Edgewood eight All Harford County cross country athletes. He was also an assistant coach for Edgewood indoor and outdoor track and field (2015-2017) and personally coached a first-year track student-athlete to the Maryland state championship in the triple jump.

As a student-athlete, Hutton competed for five years in long distance running at the collegiate level for Philadelphia University, Harford Community College and the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He graduated from UMBC with a degree in Chemistry Education.

In high school, Hutton competed in four years of track and field and two years of cross country at North Harford. He finished second at the Maryland 3A state cross country meet in 2009, and third in the 3200 and fourth in the 1600 of the 2010 Maryland 3A state track and field championship.

By day, Hutton teaches chemistry at Edgewood High School. He resides in Essex, Md.
