Men's XC: Knights Win Conference, Region Titles, Send Six to Nationals

Baltimore County, Md. - On October 27, the Knights' men's cross country team captured the NJCAA Region XX Division I and Maryland Juco Athletic Conference titles for the first time in team history in a meet hosted by Westmoreland Community College (Youngwood, Pa.).

The last time the Knights won a regional cross country title was by the women in 2011. 

Head coach Noah Hutton and the Knights are sending six runners to the NJCAA Division I Men's Cross Country Championship in Garden City, Kan., which will take place tomorrow.

Garrett Harris, Kadiv Wallace and Jesse Kerr placed second, third and fourth, respectively, at the regional meet. Harris ran 29:27.7, Wallace 31:45.0 and Kerr 31:45.2.

Bradley Allen, Charles Whiting and John Weiss also qualified for nationals with times of 32:28.5, 32.37.5 and 33:27.6.

The Knights defeated Harford Community College to win its titles, besting the Fighting Owls by nine points.
