Knights Rebound After Slow Start, Slay Dragons 101-46

Rosedale, Md.— The Knights Women's Basketball team ended their regular season with a 101-46 win over Howard Community College. The Knights struggled in the beginning being outscored 18-16 in the first quarter. After that, the Knights rebounded outscoring the Dragons in every quarter.

Leading the Knights in scoring was Patricia Anumgba with 28 points. Going 12-17 from the field, she also added 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1 steal. Right behind her was Kendall Haggerty with 24 points. She continued to shoot from deep all game, making 8-16 of her three-point shots. Kelly Foster provided the scoring spark off the bench that the Knights needed scoring 14 points along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 8 steals.

With another 100+ scoring game, the Knights have scored 100+ points in 17 out of the 30 games they have played this season.

The Knights end the season a perfect 30-0. They look to take their regular season form into the NJCAA Region 20 Division II Women's Basketball Semifinals on Friday, March 4th when they face Montgomery College (MD) at Garrett College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 PM.
