Women's Soccer: Webb, Moran, D'Amico Lift Knights to Victory Over Vikings

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. -- The Knights won their fourth consecutive game last night behind three goals from Erin Moran (Perry Hall) and one from Lindsea Webb (Sparrows Point) as they defeated Mercer County 4-2 on the road.

Moran opened the scoring in the 19th minute off an assist by Bailey D'Amico (Perry Hall). Two minutes later, the Vikings tied it with a Mary McDermott goal.

The game remained tied at halftime, but Webb put the Knights (4-1) on top 13 minutes into the second half. Her goal was assisted by D'Amico as well.

Less than a minute later, Moran added her second, this time assisted by Alexis Corbitt-Fennekohl, to give the Knights a 3-1 lead.

In the 61st minute, Moran finished off her hat trick on another assist from D'Amico.

The Vikings added a goal in the 75th minute - Melissa May - but the Knights played shutdown defense for the last 15 minutes to secure the victory.

Moran has scored nine goals in her last two games and has 12 goals on the season.

For Webb, it was her first goal of the season and D'Amico now has four helpers this year.

The Knights return home tomorrow to host Hagerstown. Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m.
