Monday Memory: 2019 Women's Volleyball Bests Garrett 3-1

On October 3, 2019, CCBC Essex defended its home court, defeating Garrett College 3-1.

It was the Knights first win over the Lakers in two seasons. 

Garrett won the first set 25-16, helped in part by 11 Knights' errors.

Essex would commit just 14 total errors the rest of the game. 

The Knights dominated the second set, winning it 25-14, registering 13 kills.

Sets three and four were competitive, with the Knights winning 26-24 and 25-23, respectively.

Destiny Barrera-Infante led the Knights with 16 kills and had one assist.

Nyla Johnson had nine kills and Lilly Remmel finished with eight.

Sasha Solomon led the team with 35 assists.

Soloman and Remmel also led the team with five digs each. Barrera-Infante and Jasmine Porter had three digs apiece.
