Knights Cross Country Runs at Goucher College Classic
TOWSON, Md. -- Overnight and race-day rains brought about a mud riddled track last Saturday as CCBC Essex traveled to participate in the Goucher College Cross Country Classic.
The Knights battled through the weather beaten track for the 6K race, a distance none of them had run previously.
Freshman Katie Klein was the Knights top finisher. She placed 35th in the field of 77 with a time of 29:38.87.
Freshman Christy Davison was not far behind, completing the race in 31:52.59 and coming in 55th place.
Freshmen Brittany Fallon (38:28.79), Katie Patro (42:09.47) and Linia Sankar (45:41.83) finished 72, 75 and 76, respectively.
This Saturday, Oct. 18, the ladies will travel to Utica Park in Frederick, Md. for the Hood College Open Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 12 PM.
