CCBC Athletics Covid-19 Vaccination Update

Baltimore County, Md. (October 8, 2021) -- The Community College of Baltimore County has a COVID-19 vaccination mandate for all student-athletes that actively participate on one or more of the college's recognized athletic teams.   

To comply with this requirement, student-athletes must provide evidence to the Assistant Athletic Director (Melissa Miller, Catonsville; Leslie Wray; Dundalk and Greg Witkop, Essex) on their respective campuses that they are fully vaccinated by November 1, 2021. 

•  Fully vaccinated is defined as 14 days after receiving both doses of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine, i. e., Pfizer or Moderna, or the single-dose COVID-19 vaccine, i.e., Johnson & Johnson.

Requests for an exemption to this vaccine requirement for medical or religious reasons will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to apply for an exemption, please contact me at cscott@ccbcmd.edu. I will then send you the exemption documentation that needs to be completed and sent back to me with any supporting documents prior to November 1, 2021 for consideration. Approved exemptions of student-athletes will require weekly testing.
