Rosedale, Md.— On Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, amidst their spring break, the Knights got to travel to Virginia Beach where they played Bryant & Stratton College's Bobcats. The Knights would win this spring break showdown with a final score of 4-1. The Knights scored in the lone run first inning which was duplicated by the Bobcats in the second. This game wouldn't see another run scored until the sixth inning when the Knights scored three allowing them to lead 4-1 which was maintained until the end of the contest.
On offense, the Knights had six hits and left only seven runners on base. The leader in hits for the Knights was Luis Marrero with two while he also led with two RBI's.
On defense, the Knights used four pitchers. Patrick Bradley-Cooney started the game on the mound allowing one run and hit off five innings. After him, Joshua Youngberg pitched two, followed by Harry Fegan in the eighth and Tommy Peifley in the ninth. Youngberg, Fegan, and Peifley all allowed zero runs and hits. Bradley-Cooney was awarded the win while Tommy Peifley was awarded the save.
The Knights improved their record to 12-14-1 after this contest and have their next games scheduled on the road against the Cecil County Seahawks in a double header on Friday, April 15th 2022 first pitch is set for 1:00pm
