Knights Baseball to Host Third Annual Youth Summer Camp and Showcase

Rosedale, Md.— The CCBC Essex Knights baseball team will host two events in August open to the community. On August 15, the Knights will host a summer youth baseball camp from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm on the Knights baseball field. The camp is open for players ages 8-15 and the cost of registration is $50 per camper. Registration closes on August 14.  

During the camp, players will receive instruction for the coaches and players of CCBC Essex, covering fielding, throwing, pitching, and hitting. Players should bring their baseball glove, hat, and a drink.

The Knights will also host a two-day summer showcase event on August 16 and 17 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on the Knights baseball field. The event is open for players ages 14-23 and will cover fielding, hitting, pitching, and catching.

On August 16, participants will participate in a simulated college practice and then enjoy skill evaluations and development from Knights coaches as well as at least four coaches from NCAA Division I, II, and III schools. On August 17, live games will be played, as college coaches continue to evaluate and give feedback to the participants.

Participants are able to register for just one of the days for $75, or both days for $125. Registration closes August 15.
