Bio

Bellotte joins the CCBC Essex men’s lacrosse coaching staff in 2015 as a first-time collegiate coach and will be defensive coordinator. He previously coached at Severna Park High School and The Calverton School in Maryland. 

In Bellotte's five years Severna Park,  the Falcons rose from a midlevel achiever to three State Championship appearances in five years, winning the schools first ever 4A/3A State Championship in 1999. Bellotte compiled a 74-20 record with the Falcons, captured three 4A/3A East Region titles, three Anne Arundel County Championships, was awarded Baltimore Sun and Capital Gazette Coach of the Year in 1999 and Baltimore Sun, Capital Gazette and Washington Post Coach of the Year in 2003.

Bellotte coached two seasons at The Calverton School alongside head coach Jonathan Montes.  Bellotte coached the defense and goalies on teams that went 28-6 over a two year period, winning two M.I.L.L. Championships.  He was also instrumental in the recruiting efforts and running a club program developing young players in the local community.

As a student-athlete, Bellotte played his high school and college lacrosse in Maryland. At St. Mary’s High School in Annapolis he was a three year varsity letter winner for head Coach Jim Moorehead.  He played at Loyola University Maryland (then Loyola College in Baltimore) and played one year at Anne Arundel Community College, where he was a team captain. While at AACC, Bellotte was named All Region XX as a defensive player and recognized as an NJCAA Academic All-American. 

Bellotte has been married for 20 years to his wife, Laura, and has two children, Jake (18) and Kalli (14). The family resides in Severna Park, Md. where he is Mortgage Originator/Branch Manager for Presidential Mortgage Group.
