- Zach Bakunas of the Sharks scores on the first possession unassisted 24 seconds into the game
- Cole Quattrocche ties the game for the Knights 6:21 in with an unassisted goal off a forced turnover
- Evan Skinner scores 41 seconds later to give the Knights the lead, assisted by Austen King
- The Sharks come right back 23 seconds later with an unassisted goal by Jerry Brown
- Skinner breaks the tie with his second goal and 6:29 to go in the first quarter
