Essex, MD- The CCBC Essex Men's Soccer team continued their winning streak with a dominant 7-1 victory over Carroll Community College. CCBC Essex showcased their offensive skills early, with Aidan Hidassy scoring the first goal at the 20th-minute mark, assisted by Angel Vargas-Hernandez. From there, Cameron Neighoff and Jonathan Izaguirre added two more goals in the first half, securing a 3-0 lead going into halftime.

The Knights' offensive pressure didn't stop in the second half. Alexis Maldonado and Bartu Yakkan extended the lead to 5-0 with back-to-back goals shortly after the break. Neighoff scored his second goal of the match at the 67th minute, assisted by Whakeem Foster, who later scored the team's final goal. Carroll managed to pull one back with Daniel Wojtkowiak scoring at the 72nd minute, but it wasn't enough to disrupt CCBC Essex's control.

Regarding overall performance, CCBC Essex outshot Carroll 34-3, maintaining a high shot-on-goal percentage with 15 shots on target. The Knights' goalkeeper, Antony Gaitan, had a strong performance with two saves, only allowing one goal. Defensively, they kept Carroll under consistent pressure, limiting their offensive chances.

As the Knights prepare for their next game against CCBC Catonsville on October 8th at 7 pm at CCBC Essex Stadium, keep an eye on standout players like Cameron Neighoff, who now has multiple goals in consecutive games, and Angel Vargas-Hernandez, whose playmaking ability continues to be a key asset. The team will look to maintain their winning form as they remain undefeated in conference play.
