XC: Men's Team, Harris Place 3rd at Mustang Stampede
STEVENSON, Md. -- On August 31, the Knights cross country squads competed in the annual Mustang Stampede hosted by Stevenson University, as the men placed third in the men's 4K team competition with freshman Garrett Harris (Loch Raven) placing third overall.
Harris finished with a time of 13:17.55, about 40 seconds behind the winner.
Sophomore Kadiv Wallace (Dunbar) finished in 18th place with a time of 14:41.39 and freshman Jesse Kerr (Oakland Tech) placed 27th with a time of 15:12.64.
Other freshmen finishers with times in parenthesis: Charles Whiting (15:20.56), John Weiss (15:49.27), Bradley Allen (16:05.35), Logan Bear (17:31.78) and Sekou Johnson (21:18.63).
The men's race included 44 runners, one of which did not finish.
The Knights only female runner, sophomore Angela Johnson (Patapsco), finished the women's 4K in 22:00.67.

The Knights will head to McDaniel College today for the annual Green Terror Challenge.
