Knights Coast to 104-38 Win Over the College of Southern Maryland

The CCBC Essex Knights Women's Basketball team extended their win streak to 7 after an impressive 104-38 win over the College of Southern Maryland. The team now sits at an impressive 24-1. The Knights offense was firing on all cylinders as the team made 52.6% of their shots. Gissel "Gigi" Gamble led with a game high 18 points. The Knights depth was on display as well, as three Knights players had big games coming off the bench. Reghan Robinson and Anylah Davis both scored 17 points, with Robinson hitting a game high five three-point shots. Michaela Guest contributed a double- double, with 12 points and a game high 10 rebounds.

The Knights were able to pull down an eye popping 60 rebounds, 44 defensive and 16 offensive. That, along with a stifling defense that allowed no more than 14 points in a quarter, allowed the Knights to coast to an easy victory.

As the season winds down, the squad will need its depth pieces to continue to show what they are capable of. They will have more opportunities to do just that as they host Anne Arundel Community College tomorrow night. The tip-off is scheduled for 7PM.
