Essex, MD- The CCBC Essex women's soccer team delivered an impressive 8-2 victory over Carroll Community College in their recent match. The game began with CCBC Essex striking early, as Diamond Brown scored within the first four minutes. Carroll quickly responded, tying the match at 1-1, but a goal from Melat Abrham, assisted by Avery Lane, allowed CCBC Essex to regain the lead before halftime. The first half ended in a 2-2 tie after Carroll's Haley Greenwade scored a penalty kick.
The second half was dominated by CCBC Essex, who scored six unanswered goals. Ashlin Fuentes had a standout performance, netting four goals, including two quick goals within just two minutes early in the half.
