Women's Cross Country: Knights Runners Show Well at National Meet

CCBC Essex women's cross country student athletes Kelsie Williams (Loch Raven), Carole Cory (Gaithersburg) and Shawnee Rochester (Western) participated Saturday in the 2015 NJCAA Division I Women's Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

All three not only finished the 5 Kilometer (3.11 miles) race, but represented CCBC with pride on the national stage.

The race consisted of 305 NJCAA Division I student athletes.

Williams (sophomore) - 21:35.21, finished 156, average mile 6:56.5
Cory (freshman) - 21:59.18, finished 195, average mile 7:04.2
Rochester (freshman) - 22:14.05, finished 210, average mile 7:09
